It may have seemed rather quiet at the World Culture Hub for some weeks but work has been going on continuously. We’re still at the beginning and hope to accelerate the growth of the WCH in the forseeable future. The latest and so far most extensive addition is Africa’s 100 Best Books of the 20th Century, based on a famous selection of modern African literature initiated on occassion of the Zimbabwe International Book Fair 1998 and introduced in 2002. We present the complete list here with short annotations to each book by Michael K. Iwoleit.
WCH founder Michael K. Iwoleit has also contributed two admittedly personally biased essays: a critical reflection about the tales of Franz Kafka and his selection of the ten greatest science fiction stories ever written.
